This park has paved roads, a secure facility, pleasant staff, an excellent location, is clean and well maintained. The water park is within walking distance and, is half-priced when staying here. Most of the sites are spacious and private! Definitely a place to see and to base-camp to see the DC area!!

Great location off the interstate. Grounds are well kept, although the roads were dusty. Clean campground overall. Many sites are very close quarters and witnessed RVs having to squeeze themselves into sites. Pool was small, playground was primitive, lake/pond needs attention, roads need some repair, site #'s are not clearly marked which is difficult when arriving at night. More cons than pros here, but "OK" for the value.

Excellent location off I-66 with no traffic noise. Very peaceful and quiet with open and wooded sites. Overall it could use some updating such as: picnic tables, roads and sites could use fresh gravel. Very nice setting on a farm with friendly staff. The pool is very nice and well maintained. The nightly rate is very reasonable. We will return.

WE DID NOT STAY AT THIS PARK. I would have been interested in staying here until we called and were told to send a check for the entire amount of our stay with no refunds, OUCH! I have never encountered a campground policy such as this. At most they may keep one night deposit for a cancellation policy. Also, this was the first time I encountered a campground not taking a credit card. Not to mention I was hung up on when I declined the reservation! Seemed to get great reviews, but I have lost interest, based on my reservation encounter. I expect if you can get over the the reservation portion the place is fairly nice, but just a speculation on my part.

Very well managed park!! All around it scored very high marks. It is a newly constructed park so tree growth/shade and some grassy areas are yet to develop, but will be absolutely wonderful in years to come. Reasons for not getting a 10 were; sewer hookup was over 15 feet away which required a purchase of an extension, the camp store is primitive with selections of items, otherwise an excellent campground! Met the owners as we were leaving and they were very informative and pleasant to talk to as well. Based on other campgrounds in the immediate area we would not consider any other.

This campground is pleasant for a KOA. The staff is absolutely wonderful and very helpful! The roads seem to get some mixed reviews, but with any experience in driving/towing a big rig the arrival and exit is managable; we managed with a 40ft 5ver. Upon entry you will be greeted with an escort to your site, and any help if need. Overall this place is very clean and quiet with wonderful views of the mountain sides and Shenandoah Country. This campground could be a 9 or even a ten with cable, better WiFi, game room, and overall updating to facilities. The WiFi is advertised as free but is sporatic at best and not reliable at all. We would visit again.

Great park for access to Gettysburg. A mix of site types from no shade to fully shaded. I recommend anything over 35ft to use the open sites as the shaded sites are located in the rear of the park with many trees to avoid and very tight in some places. Very nice park with friendly and helpful staff! We would definitely return!!

Park is very easily reached off I-81. Staff was very friendly and helpful; escorted to site. You can see the current investments being put into this park(Improvements are being made). Great park for the kids! The entry/exit roads need major improvements, fees are slightly high but you can see the profits are invested, recreational activities not very well marked on site map, laser tag and pedal cart track needs attention! Overall a great park in the works! You can see the investments and potential this park has. The owners seem to have a lot of projects going on at one time; which gives the impression of unprofessional project management.

This park is very accommodating and very well staffed! We were greeted and escorted to our site with friendly staff members. The sites were very large and unrestricted to space. Beautiful mountain views were reminders of a first class luxury resort. Although the water slide was closed my children enjoyed the 3 pools!! Excellent campground and booked for next year already.

Excellent park!! Although, we were placed in an over flow site with mostly tents and pop-ups, we were very pleased with the size of our site and a majority of all the others we had seen as well. The staff was very helpful and the facilities were very well maintained. We will return again.

We stayed for the weekend since it was close to our home. Rate based on 2 kids and 2 dogs. Site was all gravel, no grass at all. The grounds were well maintained and the staff was friendly. We will return again.

This park is not good for children. It is not "kid friendly", so be sure you have plenty for them to do inside the camper, unless you venture outside the campground for activities. They have a pool, which if your children act like kids, they will be removed. This goes for the small game room, which has cameras up,(not sure if they are real or not). If you are just staying overnight it is not bad, get in and get out. The owner is former military and as a former Marine myself, I find his "boot-camp" attitude very amusing,(LOL), and it rubs off on the staff as well !! Beware of his short fuse.....

We spent the Memorial Day weekend here and had a great time. The staff was absolutely great!! We were in an over flow site, which put me a about 20 feet short for my electric/water hookup. Immediately the escort, "Bub", offered a water hose and 30 amp extension to reach the hook ups. My wife and I were very impressed with the welcome! Excellent facilities, clean pool and bathrooms, hayrides, DJ/music in the pavilion, public fishing a short distance across the road and much more. THANKS, we will return!
